App Smackdown: Slido
Slido is an audience interaction platform designed to boost engagement during events, meetings, and presentations by enabling participants to ask questions, participate in polls, and provide real-time feedback via their devices. It fosters interactive and inclusive environments, making it easy for facilitators to gather audience insights and address questions during live sessions.
Key features of Slido include live Q&A, where participants can ask questions anonymously, and live polling to capture audience opinions. It also offers interactive quizzes, word clouds for visualizing audience responses, and detailed analytics to track engagement. These features make it a valuable tool for enhancing communication and participation in various settings like conferences, webinars, and corporate meetings.

I've never heard of Slido before, but I think it sounds like a great app. To me, it sounds similar to PearDeck, which I am familiar with and definitely see myself using as a teacher. Great job on your presentation!

ReplyDeleteI think Slido would be great for Clubs and Organizations on campus. It helps to keep people interested and at the same time gives you the opportunity to receive the feedback you need. Do you use it often?

ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of Slido but it seems very useful for engaging interactive presentations. I have used Peardeck and Kahoot but they are both designed for children. Slido sounds like a more professional option.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I heard of Slido but I think this is very useful webtool. You mentioned the main use of the tool very well and I see myself using this website in the near future
